Redwood City

“Climate Best By Government Test” is Redwood City’s town slogan, inspired by government weather research in the early 1900s. Our town has no shortage of sunny days and the grid is laid out in such a way that it naturally breaks down into several close-knit communities.

Silicon Valley tech giants like Apple, Facebook, Google, and EA Sports are based in this area and many employees of these companies live in Redwood City. We are home to great schools and nonprofit organizations dedicated to making our community a wonderful place to live, work, and play.

Shopping

In addition to some unique local shops like Pickled Clothing Boutique nearby, Harrison Avenue offers convenient access to many stores including Whole Foods, Secoa Station, CVS, Safeway, and Old Navy. Grab your morning coffee at Starbucks, or head over to Noah’s Bagels for a breakfast treat to start your day off right. Target and Costco are nearby, as well. Everything you need is very close to home.

Fitness

Redwood City is a fantastic place to live if you like to be active and stay in shape. The city has its own port in the San Francisco Bay and is home to numerous crew and sailing clubs. Take a walk through the stunning redwood forests for which the city is named. There are several great parks and there is so much to see and do throughout the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. Redwood City has plenty of excellent gyms and wellness studios, like Rocksalt, to serve your personal fitness needs.
